Remove message box on screensaver

When you configure the screensaver to stay displayed until a gesture is performed, there is a message box across the middle of the screensaver image (Waiting for specific gesture to exit screensaver.).

Is there a way to remove this message box, or at least move it to a different position (preferably, to the bottom of the screen)?

I tried to comment out the dialog in the related Lua file, but that only led to a crash of the system.

No, it is not possible without changing the code.
