Cannot access the content server
I've recently installed Calibre 6.2.1 on my laptop to transfer books to my new Kindle Paperwhite (11th Gen). Until a couple of days ago, I was able to transfer using the content server. However, today I find that I can't load the server on my Kindle's web browser or, for that matter, on my phone. I can, however, load my Calibre library on my laptop's browser using 127.0.0.1:8080.
- All three devices are using the same Wifi network. - My laptop's firewall is off and I'm not using an antivirus. - I haven't setup a username or password on the content server. What could be causing this issue? |

Does using a browser on our laptop work with the IP address of the laptop, that is, instead of 127.0.0.1:8080, try 10.4.0.27:8080 (replace 10.4.0.27 with your laptop's IP address as shown by the content server). 127.0.0.1 is basically this device, it's not usable from other machines and it's possible that your laptop's IP address has changed.
