Marvin 3 doesn’t show page ##’s

Hi, new here…

I was searching to find out why my Marvin 3 (on iPad) now shows “Page ? of ?”

I just liked to know where-abouts I was in a book, and expect it to vary due to screen size, font size, etc.

Anyway now it shows just “Page ? of ?” which is not very helpful.
I’m new and don’t have an inkling of how to narrow the search for this subject.

Any pointers would be welcomed.
