Randomly changing from Dark Mode to Light Mode

Since the upgrade to 6.0, I have noticed that the GUI will switch from dark mode to light mode at random times. This behavior is also present in 6.1.

I tried switching from system default to dark mode and this did not change anything. A restart of Calibre does resolve the issue and it will revert to dark mode.

Any thoughts on how to resolve?
