How to find ip adresses of multiple usb connected kindles
Hello,
as I understand a kindle with activated usb-serial can be reached over the network under the ip adresss 192.168.15.244. Now I am wondering what happens if two kindles are connected to the host via usb. Will they both try to use the 192.168.15.244 and one will fail, or will one of them shift to a different ip? Thanks a lot. |

Yup, you'll have to use custom IPs for each device; *and* enable the MAC mangling option, otherwise they'll both have the same MAC address, which won't fly.
(Those are USBNet settings, check the hack's config file). |
