				kindle clippings file!

Is there a way to back up my “kindle clippings” as one file. And or print them off now and then. I like how it’s all time stamped and notes the book I highlight the quotes from. If I reset my kindle that file is deleted. Any help would be appreciate. Thank you!!

Note that you can Export notes and highlights from any of your books (unless they are side loaded). They'll get sent as an attachment to the email address of your Amazon account. It's a lot more convenient than trying to reconstitute them from Clippings, though there are tools to help with that.

You can also view them online at read.amazon.com. For personal documents, Export isn't available on Kindle, and they will not be on read.amazon.com, but you can use the Kindle app for iOS, Android or Fire to export. |

Or just connect to PC/Mac/Android with USB2Go and read myclippings.txt

Works with "sideloaded" books. Or use Annotation plug-in on Calibre. The best solution is to switch to Kobo ereaders. |

When I do that and try to open it on my laptop I get a file that has random symbols and letters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Kindle Mate is what you are looking for.

You can save all the annotation in one place and even export them book-by-book. |
