default css of sigil
Hi - I copied some text - with <p>'s and <ul> - from my text editor into Sigil. I notice it has default paragraph spacing and left-indent for <ul> that displays in ADE. Is there a .css download file anywhere that shows what Sigil is using for its defaults?
I know html & css and am just looking for a quick way to redefine the defaults rather than create my own css from scratch. Thank you! |

Sigil uses NO default css. What you are seeing is how xhtml renders with no css. You must provide all of the css you want to be applied.

![]() Another, oft overlooked, feature of Sigil is "Inspect Page" ( the </> button at the bottom of the preview window). It has helped me to track down css issues many times. |

It's really not all that useful. It's similar to all browser defaults when there's no css. Not to mention that it should not be relied upon due to the fact that every epub rendering system will be a little different. This is merely how things render in chrome when no css is present. Not something to build upon for styling epubs.
