Adopt industry standard hotkey for search panes
Please enable Control+F (macOS: Command+F) as a hotkey to instantly toggle the Calibre viewer app's search pane on and off, similar to how other desktop viewers behave.

"ctrl+f" is the industry standard and works fine on all operating system. Of course what mcandre actually means is use the apple specific, non industry standard, shortcut of cmd+f https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...a725c430e58abd
