Sort by empty comments

Is there a way to sort the library by comment status: empty|not empty?

If you want an actual sort, you can put {comments} in a 'column built from other columns' and use that. I think it'll show the html tags though if that bothers you.

I made a column using the Add Your Own Columns, making it a column built from other colums as ownedbycats suggested. In the Template field I have

Code:

program:test(field('comments'), 'Yes', 'No')

Show checkmarks is selected, and sort/search is yes/no. I get a red X if no comments and a green check if there are.
