M1 Mac (Apple Silicon) and Calibre 6.0.0 performance
So I understand that one of the benefits of basing Calibre on Qt 6 is direct support for the M1 chip. Are people observing a benefit of this switch in practice? I usually take a wait-and-see approach on any major upgrades, but I'm also curious.
(I already know about the DeDRM compatibility issue, we can skip discussion of that in this thread.) |

The DeDRM issue is fixed with latest DeDRM files.
I run Calibre 6 on an M1 Mac Air and it is very smooth. |
