How do I enable USB debugging for Poke 3?

I'm trying to run ABD for my Poke 3, but it doesn't appear when I run "adb devices", and I never get the "Allow USB debugging" prompt shown in this tutorial. (I've never used ADB before.)

In the Poke 3 user manual, I find:

I've checked all submenus I can find under Settings, and find nowhere to select USB debugging. Where is it?

...and the reason I'm trying to run ADB is that I want to disable the top system bar for Calibre Companion, because it's almost unusable when the system bar hides CC's top menu bar. It seems this recipie will save me, if I get ABD to run

Never mind, I found it!

For anyone else with the same problem: On the page with apps there's a link to more settings in the top navigation line.
