Strange Title Format of E-Books exported from Calibre to Calib
I'm trying to figure out why this is happening.
In Calibre for MacOS, I have a bunch of PDF files within a series whose titles I have painstakingly edited to make sure they fall into a certain order. I sync these files to Calibre Companion where they appear to have the same titles as I wanted. Then when I export the file from Calibre Companion on my iPad to KyBooks 3, the title reads as something completely different in KyBooks 3, making it difficult for me to find what I want when there are multiple files in that series there. When I check the "open in folder" option in Calibre, the files have the correct file name in the MacOS, albeit truncated I guess because of character length restrictions. I don't know why this is happening or where the problem is. Is there some setting in Calibre that keeps this from happening? |
