Empty Library

Ok.

I opened Calibre today and my library was empty, I then looked up on my Books folder and everything was were. So my books are here, but my library in the app is empty.

I searched and searched, and tried to do restore from backup and it was successful but empty again.

So I searched from which file it restores, and found the folder and the backups in there were all created today. So that sucks.

So I may or may not have deleted the old "e-books" folder which contained my database? Which I think that's what happened and my Library is not showing.

(I may have thought months ago seeing that "e-books" folder that it's nothing since it was some KBs and deleted it, didn't think my Calibre library would be there since I thought the Calibre app was what was needed for the app to work along with a folder with all the books you import)

If so or not, please help me to get the library back. If there's a way I'm not thinking or if the library is there and I did something like created a new library or something.

Calibre lost track of where the Library was and created a new one in the current default location (this has changed over the years, so you real library was on a different path than used now days)
Right click The Library Icon: Switch/Create: Use Existing: <navigate to where the Authors folders , you found are>:OK

That should do it
