How to send .epub directly on Kindle Jailbroken
Hi guys, I'm still considering if , for my use, will be a worth or not to jailbreak my Kindle Paperwhite 11Th, now I use to download the books in .epub format, converter through Calibre on PC and send through my Kindle account ( xxx@kindle.com) on my Kindle.
So the question is: After jailbreak can I send directly .epub through Kindle account (xxx@kindle.com) or not? I think not because Kindle account doesn't allow .epub to be sent...and/or can I diretly on kindle Browser find the website where I use to download my books and download it directly on Kindle folder in .epub and later open it through Koreader? Differently If I should pass the .epub through PC I don't think will change to much compared now...because now I conventer and send...later I'll link Kinlde to PC to get the books... Thanks |

Amazon most probably won't process epub. You can try establishing SSH via USBNetwork, when NiLuJe updates the package. See "Snapshots by NiLuJe" sticky thread.

You can't open Epubs directly to Kindle even if you jailbreak. Nor can you download epub directly on it.

Ah, yes, then install KOReader to actually read the epub.

I assumed that after Jailbreak there was a faster way to do that. Thanks for reply |

Yes I knew that, I must use Koreader, the problem as I wrote above is I still must use PC to put books on Kindle so for me that way isn't a worth compared what I do now...so I'll use Kindle Stock and convert books using Calibre on PC and send converted .mobi through my Kindle account(xxxx@kindle.com) better and fast way for my daily use.
Thanks for reply |

No, it has no account by itself. Have a look at the KOReader Wiki page on Github, these options are well described there

you can rename .epub file to .png (interesting_book.epub -> interesting_book.png) and send it to your kindle_com email.

I use the following two methods to wirelessly send arbitrary files (including epubs) to my kindle. They are all kual extensions.

When that method is used amazon converts the file to mobi then sends the mobi to your kindle. The EPUB is not sent to the kindle.
