Hello From a New Member

Hello,
I just bought a Sony PRS 505 ebook reader for my wife for Christmas.
I am trying to figure out which format is best to purchase and download ebooks. I have read that the PRS 505 will read Adobe PDF, RTF, TXT, BBeb, Microsoft Word and Epub formats.
My question is if I have a choice in formats which would be the best? Does one or the other work best on the Sony PRS 505?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Welcome to the forum, Peeve! I don't have an answer to your format question. I've used most of the formats you mention and haven't had problems with any of them. There are members here who have definite ideas about which formats are best for various purposes (file size, longevity, etc.). Maybe one of them will pop in and answer your question.

Hi Peeve and welcome to the Forum. I've had the same experience as BookishDreamer. Most formats seem to work okay although you sometimes get some weird formatting with ADE.
