Raw gitbook content in Calibre Library

First of all thanks for your work.

Are there any plans to adopt the GitBook/Markdown format as one of the Caliber alternatives?

I have been using this format to translate some text from books and I have had a very satisfactory result, but to use Caliber I have to convert to EPUB, so I would like to leave the suggestion of having a direct method to open GitBook book projects.

So much for my demand and I believe that for many GitBook users it would be a great achievement to have caliber as a library.

You can store any file type you like in calibre. Simply select all files in the add books dialog when adding the file.
