Add books automatically
Sometimes it works fine and other times it stops working.
What would be the reason? I have tried it with only 10 files and the same thing happens to me. Any solution ? Calibre 5.39.1 on linux mint |

Note that the autoadder can't see into subfolders, so make sure that any files are in the root of your autoadd folder. Also check Preferences > Adding Books > Automatic adding to make sure your files aren't being ignored.
If you're sure of those, I've noticed that sometimes the autoadder can get sticky — never really identified what causes this to happen. Usually a restart will fix it, or Job Spy has an option that'll fix it (Job Spy+ > GUI Tools that are Behavior-Related > Tickle Auto-Adder To Wake Up). |
