Can't OEM unlock Boox

Hello,
I've tried rooting the Note with Magisk. After unsucessfully booting patched image the bootloader has been locked.

Quote:

Sending 'boot.img' (10512 KB) FAILED (remote: 'device is locked') fastboot: error: Command failed

I've tried

Quote:

fastboot oem unlock

and although it says "OKAY" it does not unlock the bootloader and the same 'device is locked' message appears after trying to boot into patched image again.
"allow OEM unlock" option is not in developer options menu.

Did anyone else had this problem and if so did you manage to solve it?

What does this say? (You can skip the partitions and the serial number.)

Thank you for quick response. "fastboot flashing unlock" gave

I've never looked too deeply into this stuff, because it always just worked.

Presumably since you're trying to root you can't actually see anything useful.

Have you used EDL before? Does adb reboot edl get you there?

Also: ro.boot.flash.locked=0
No idea where that gets set.
