Columns won't keep size in 5.39

I resize my columns and they do not keep their size. They've all gone back to the default sizes.

I have no problem with keeping the column sizes in 5.38.

Could it be due to the new Atomic Writes?

I'm running Windows 11. And I've gone back to 5.38.

If you use the View Manager plugin, make sure to save the columns after resizing. Other than that, not sure.

Nope. Never had a NAS and never will.

Also the 5.99.8 beta also works and keeps the column sizes.

Pardon me... A WINDOWS network drive. In either case it's remote storage accessed via SMB / CIFS.

Just for your sake, I tested 5.39 with a local library and it still failed to keep the column widths. And 5.38 does as well as 5.99.8.

Jon - 5.39 okay on Win 10, including a vanilla Portable on a local HDD.

Try with no plugins - Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R.

Windows 10.
The same happens to me.
It always occurs when opening Calibre (including when restarting).
Insisting with the View Manager plugin, the desired size is maintained.

Only in the size of the columns.

I disabled two settings set two settings and restarted. The settings did not change on restart. and did work as selected/deselected.

It seems to just be the columns that do not keep their size.

P.S. I am not using the View Manager plugin.

Only in the size of the columns.

Try running in debug mode and see if anything is output when starting calibre.

Which list - for me at least: it's in the index of plugins here, it's in the list at http://plugins.calibre-ebook.com/, and it's in the list within calibre itself.
