JSONDecodeError: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)

My computer crashed. I restarted and tried to get back to the ebook I was reading only to get that error message. I tried reinstalling, I tried deleting everything but the books i have saved. Nothing is working just keeps going back to that error message and nothing opens.

locate the file viewer-reading-rates.json on your computer and delete it
