Voyage battery changing issue

My husband changed the battery on my Voyage, but was unable to get the casing to close completely afterwards. It's still perfectly functional and the case I use keep it closed, but it clicks annoyingly if I press it, and I'm concerned it will get worse. Is this a known issue? Any fix?

Sounds like he needs to take it back apart carefully slide the cover back in correctly. The Voyage doesn't depend on little "snaps" all around its edge, it just has to be placed correctly in the slots and the back slid into place.

Hmm. I'm a little hesitant because he had to bend the original battery to get it out!

He wouldn't have to do anything with the battery (the new battery is, I assume, already installed). Just remove the top panel, take out four screws and slide the case back off and back on. Replace the four screws and the top panel (unless the replacement battery was too thick, or something like that, which kept the case from sliding on properly).

Hey, sorry I took so long to reply, Ive been getting up my courage to tackle this. -\ I checked out the video and don't think the battery was ever the problem, it's just the top panel that isn't quite fitting like it used to. Don't know if anything can be done about that, but at least the kindle still works. Thanks for your time and sharing the video.
