Libra 2 no dictionary on long press

Hello,

Just got my first kobo today, libra 2. However on a sideloaded .txt file there's no dictionary popup. I've read this can depend on the kind of book but shouldn't it just translate the damn text? It doesn't even select it. I have the (plain english) dictionary installed en manually translating something works ok, just not selecting a word.

I'm not too impressed yet, it feels very sluggish for instance changing font size.
And it keeps resetting the position in my book anytime i do something in settings or whatever.

never mind, i was told dictionaries do work with sideloaded epub's.

Well when you change some settings like margins, line spacing and font size or even type it will change your current spot in the book. You’re stretching or shrinking the output on the page so it will change. I got mine a few days ago and I don’t find it slow or sluggish at all. I find it faster than the Libra 1 and the Clara.

it also did resets on other actions, can't remember exactly. Anyway i'm done setting it up and enjoying the reader now.
