Troubleshooting Metadata not updating for Mobi made by KCC, Help?

I have tried every solution I could find. Updating by saving the file, updating by using embed metadata. Manually loading the file from the file browser.

Is there a sure fire way to get it to work? I am trying to read comics and I read that the best way to do that is with Mobi and KCC converter. But I cannot sort anything by author as the author is always KCC no matter what I do.

I was able to successfully update the book cover and got them to stay. I am not a pure noob but nothing I have tried updates the author...
