Kobo (libra 2) button rating?

Does anyone have an idea about how many times a button can be clicked before it simply breaks? I do wonder up to how many presses these readers are rated, as a book generally contains quite a few pages.

Enough that it doesn't seem to happen?

I don't recall any posts on the Kobo page turn buttons breaking. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, but I think it happens seldom enough that it should not cause concern.

No idea if anyone can tell what type or make or model of button this is or what its ratings would be.

Also note this is the power button only, so front buttons might be a different model.

The front buttons are not reachable unless you remove water sealant for display/light/touchscreen cables and the mainboard itself. That or lever out the buttons themselves and hope to reach things from up top... not recommended.

There already is a patch that lets you use both buttons for page forward, so if one button dies, you can still use the other.

Not sure on specifics, but that's the same switch used in the used in the Libra H2O, and I'd imagine the page turn buttons are a carryover from the previous generation as well.

As far as cycles go, they're probably rated for 500,000 cycles like other similar tactile switches.
