Kobo Libra H2O - Force mount?

Hi all,

I left my Libra H2O in sleep mode in KOReader, A couple of days later, it seemed to have powered off (despite ample battery supply) and is now unable to boot to the home screen, instead infinitely cycling on the three dots. The furthest it was able to get was to an image of an e-reader with an exclamation point and a restart button, which I presume would factory reset the device.

The current firmware on the device to my knowledge is 4.26.x (4.26.16704?). NickelMenu+KFMon are installed, and KFMon consistently shows the "successfully initialized" message early on startup. Is there any way to get the device to forcefully mount in order to salvage the data, or is my only potential way out a factory reset?

(Apologies if an edit function exists, but I am unable to find it).

Update: After a few more force power on/off cycles, the device was only able to boot to the exclamation point screen. Pressing the button resulted in a factory reset. My own fault for not keeping prompt backups, though - lesson learned.
