Libra 2 WiFi disconnecting while SSH is still active w/ keepalives

I'm using Dropbear SSH from Niluje's Kobostuff package on my Kobo Libra 2. The WiFi on my Kobo Libra 2 keeps dropping while I'm still using SSH, even as I'm still typing in the terminal. (I can see the little WiFi icon on my Kobo's screen turn blank.)

Is this normal, or did I get a dud? Is there any way to keep the WiFi connection from dropping?

And while @PeterT didn't say it, this is normal. The activity of WiFi is managed by nickel. Once it has finished syncing or otherwise does not nee the WiFi, it will disconnect. The config option mention will prevent this.
