Can Sigil be used on iPad?
I'm using on my Mac and just wondered if it will also work on an iPad (which I'm thinking of getting). I haven't found any information online.
It looks like iPad lets you design epubs in Pages (an Apple program I've never even used). If nothing else, I assume I could work in pages, then copy the HTML to Sigil on my laptop when I get home from work. Thanks. |

No. iPad and iPhone apps have Apples strict rules that prohibit QtWebEngine use on them, as all apps on these walled garden devices must use Apples Webkit and nothing else. Also Sigil for macOS is intel based not arm based.

There are some surprisingly competent text editors for iOS, like Textastic. If you're aiming to work with HTML anyway, you might prefer that over Pages. Pages has some quirks in HTML conversion, I've found. Mainly in headings and lists.
