Question One-Click Metadata Import for Books?

Hi,

I've got a book I imported that somehow lost all its metadata.

I know I can update each field by hand.

I was wondering if there was a tool, or a site or otherwise that I could click the title of the book and quickly grab a full / filled-out set of metadata for a specific title and, in one go, move it over to the book in my library?

Sincerely,

Blaine

Right click on the book, click on Edit metadata, click on Edit metadata individually, click on Download metadata. For most book this will grab the correct metadata though you may end up editing the comments and title.

Look at the manual https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/metadata.html "Downloading Metadata" for a starting point.
