Overdrive on Kobo Forma not working in France

I have an Overdrive account on which I can use my UK library card but on my new Forma that I am setting up here in France "Overdrive" is not listed. It seems that France is not a listed country. Does anyone know of a workaround?

Whether Overdrive is available on Kobo devices is based on your Kobo account. If the address is in a country that has OD enabled, then the device should have OD enabled. You can change this in the Kobo store, but, it also affect the store for buying books.

It is possible that changing it, setting up the OD connection and then changing it back will allow books borrowed via Libby to be downloaded to the device if they match to a book in the store. I think someone has done this successfully, but, I'm not sure.

^ Thanks for your input. I have created a new Kobo account using a UK VPN but that doesn't seem to work. It is as if my local Wifi IP address here in France doesn't allow me to have access to Overdrive.

To answer my own question. I entered my UK address in my billing details and Overdrive appeared.
