IOS pdf reader for OPDS
I don't know which thread I should put this. I'll start here:
Is there an IOS pdf reader, other than MapleRead, that has the calibre tags after downloading via OPDS? |

Even inpedentent of the tags issue I couldn't find any other PDF reader which can download from a OPDS server. Any suggestions are much appreciated! |

Independent of the tags issue I used to use Kybook 3 until I got a dedicated PDF reader. Swore by it for quite some time and really only stopped reading on my phone because of text neck.

Cool. Will check it out. Thx.
Does the "dedicated PDF reader" have the ability to import from OPDS? What reader is it? Just curious... |

It was a business-focused device, so you're locked into their software for file transfer. I ended up getting a second Digital Paper just because there was no other way to get a replacement stylus (yes I hear how insane this is), and rooted one. So, I can use OPDS via Android apps on the rooted one, but I just copy calibre files to a sync folder for the regular one and copy the marked up ones back into the library once read. It sucks but I'm used to it; 'Connect to folder' works pretty well for me. If an e-reader for PDF markup interests you, I'd look into the Onyx Boox line or the ReMarkable 2. I don't know a lot about their software, but there's definitely more access to the cloud, and I'd guess somebody's figured out to root the Boox if that sounds like your thing. Boox is less flashy, but is probably the better bet in the long run, imo. I watched the market for like a year before buying and still made the wrong choice (I do love my devices, it just wasn't worth the money or the hassle of having no support from Sony), so, idk, tread carefully in niche markets. |

I'm actually thinking of the boox note air 2 or the kobo elipsa if I get a dedicated physical e-reader. At the moment I get by with MapleRead on the iPad. |
