Highlight takes very long time on phone/ tablets via content sever

Hi

I read books with viewer through content sever on my android phones or tablets. It works well except the hilighting. I ususlly need to tap on the texts for longer than 10+ seconds to bring up the highlight menu. But it does not work all of the time and the menu does not show up. Does anyone else have this problem?

That's not normal. The long tap threshold is half a second. Not ten seconds.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought. On my PC, the highlight with mouse in the Viewer works normally. I tried the highlighting with Moon+ reader pro on my android phone and tablet , it work well too.

It pops up the selection bar in under a second on the default chrome browser on my android phone.

Interesting. I tried it with Chrome on several different android devices (phone, tablet), all show the same issues. Out of 10 trials, for 2-3 times, the selection bar pops up under a second, but most of the time, it takes a long time or just no menu pops up. However, for ios devices, it runs very smoothly without any problems with Safari.

After so many trials, I found that the highlighting works smoothly and reliably only on the Firefox browser, but not Chrome, Edge...
