Johann Heinrich Daniel Zschokke (22. März 1771 in Magdeburg – 27. Juni 1848 in Aarau), war ein deutscher Schriftsteller und Pädagoge. Er ließ sich in der Schweiz einbürgern und übernahm in der Folge zahlreiche politische Ämter und wirkte als liberaler Vorkämpfer und Volksaufklärer. (nach Wikipedia)
