Caliber 64Bit size limit on EPUB Files?

I've been using Caliber EBook view for a while and until now have had no complaints

Yesterday I downloaded file that is larger than I have previously opened in Caliber When I try to open the file, using either Reader or the Main Program, I get the "Preparing for first use" message and the spinning circle But the circle never stops spinning I tried downloading a new copy of the book, and got the same results

The file is 1,364 KB The rest of my downloads are in the 300 to 500 KB range

I'm using version 5.11.0

Any help gratefully appreciated

1.4MB is nothing. Have you checked the correctness of that file? Does it open in the Editor?

I've tried with the main program, same thing

Editor just lists a bunch of HTML Files


FWIW Adobe Digital Edition 4.5.10.186048 opens the same file just fine

So the Editor did settle.
You need to click on one of those to 'edit' or preview (F10) as the main purpose here is to EDIT, not view.

But more important. run the check (deBUG icon),
You can copy the LOG by right clicking, then Paste it here IN SPOILER TAGS (Xed eye in advanced mode )

I did a REPAIR install and that file opens fine now

Should have tried that first
