Set custom sort order for individual series

Hello all -

Is it possible to set custom sort orders for individual series?

For instance, I have about 40 series and I view them all in cover grid layout. I'd like to sort some series by Title, some by Date, and others by Published. Currently, if I want to change the sorting order for a series, I click on the "AZ Sort" button and select my sort but then the other series I select defaults to my previous sort selection. I am wondering if there is a way to save a sort order for a particular series so Calibre remembers it.

You could make a custom series-like column #sortorder, fill in the original series names, but then arrange the numbering however you like it. There's a plugin called Manage Series that will help.

Then just search series:true and sort by #sortorder. Or set up a series:true virtual library and use View Manager plugin to switch to it and set the sort.

Manage Series is a tool to set NORMAL Calibre Series [index]

A custom column is the way to go.
Plugins to consider: Reading List, View Manager

I can also edit custom series-likes with it.
