Trying to change title.
Hello.
I've sideloaded a book to my Aura h2o2. It doesn't have the right title. Is there a way to change it? TIA. |

Or only load ebooks via Calibre.

Thanks, all. Is there also a way to change the cover?

The question you are actually asking is: How do I edit the metadata?
The answer is with the appropriate tools such as calibre or the metadata editor that @stiivo pointed to. You do that on the PC and then put the updated book on the device. Though calibre can update the metadata on the device without updating the book. |

I tried, but it doesn't work. The cover is a small image in the middle of the screen. Any ideas? (Title worked, tysm!)

I would suggest using calibre. Use the Edit metadata individually function to download the metadata and a larger version of the cover. Edit the metadata including the title, resize the cover to keep the size down (I generally like 1000x1500), use either Polish book or Modify ePub to insert the updated metadata and cover, check it using calibre's ebook viewer. Send to your ereader.

What you are actually looking at is the first page of the book. For epubs, Kobo renders the first page of the book and uses that as the cover. To change it, you need to edit the book and build a new first page. Overall, the easiest way to do this, is with calibre. It has tools to fetch metadata and covers and then update the book with these. Then you can send them to the device and the device will generate the new cover. |

@davidfor: Yes, I am using the ePub format. The problem is, when I do that in calibre, it stays the same. The eBook viewer shows the cover normally. I will post a picture tomorrow.

If you have updated the cover to a bigger/better/preferred version, use the Polish book tool to update the cover. The icon for this tool is a brush. Choose the update cover. When run, it will replace the existing cover in the book with cover that calibre has. It should put it in so that it fills the page. Then send the book to the device.

There is a preferences setting to allow larger covers to be downloaded. |

As for the preference, do you mean the maximum_cover_size tweak? |
