New to forum, new to ereaders

Well I'm brand new and never even heard of these devices until today, now I HAVE to have one. I'd like the Kindle, but I don't want to wait four months for one.

I'm probably going to get the Sony 700bc, but I've been searching and searching for battery replacements, something I always make sure is available before I buy something like this and I can't find anything on it.

Is there a battery replacement for the new Sony 700bc? Thanks to anyone who has the answer and I'm so glad I found this forum.

Let me extend a welcome to you.

Once you decide on your Reader of choice, you'll wonder how you could ever do without one, especially if you like to carry more than one book around with you.

The convenience factor alone is incredible.

Batteries are not yet user replaceable (in the sense that you just pop a lid and put one in yourself).

Let us know which one you decide to finally purchase.

Have fun.

Hi SharonLM and welcome to the Forum. I got a Sony 505 last January and like it a lot. And I think you'll be very happy with a 700. Be sure and let us know what you decide
