Calibre -> GMX -> Kindle or Kindle on Android

I had this working at one time but had to rebuild Windows 10 and then everything stopped.
Configureation: Windows 10 Pro, Calibre 5.6, GMX email
I can select a book and send to harddrive and it is there - No problem.
I can select a book and send to email of Kindle, the following happens:

Email successfully sent

Appears to go to the proper email address on my Kindle but never arrives.
It doesn't show on GMX 'Sent' folder but looks like it went through GMX

Same results when I send to my Kindle on Android. Different email address obviously but the same results because it appears to go but doesn't get there.

Any help would be apprecated.

If you are sending to your Kindle, remember to update the email preferences on your Amazon Kindle page to allow email sent from your GMX email address. Also note that Amazon does not allow email delivery of AZW3 and new style (KF8) MOBI files.

Did all of that and it appears that the email is successful going from GMX but doesn't showup on Kindle or Android Kindle. I can save them to disk mainly because that doesn't use email. When I look at the details of the email transfer everything says 'successful'.???

Ok I went back for the 4th time and reentered the email address in Calibre and in Amazon preferences and tried again and now it is working. Not sure what changed! Both emails to my Kindle worked and to my android kindle worked. This is very confusing but it all seems to work now. The only problem still existing is that my Kindle for PC will NOT sync with my Kindle reader or Android Kindle but Amazon told me that that would not work. Also they are all listed as 'DOC' and not 'Books' but I can live with that.
