1. Post a request to enable PMs and post editing in ==>> Requests to enable Private Messages.
2. Once you have edit permission, could you put the Version, Release Date etc in the first post - use the first post in [GUI Plugin] Resize Cover as a template. We are probably going to reduce the index to the Link and Description within the next week. BR |

Please get the plugin at GitHub: https://github.com/xxyzz/WordDumb/releases
Still can't edit the post. That's kind annoying. |

Calibre mods are not forum admins. I am guessing here, but editing privledges most likely kick in after posting 5, 10 or 15 posts. I would suggest going to the Miscellaneous forum board, introducing yourself and maybe posting some in the lounge. Keep checking your posts and at some point an edit button should show up at the bottom right of the posts you create (see attached).
When you finally achieve the abilitity to edit, go to your first post in the WordDumb thread and edit it as BetterRed suggested above. I updated the Plugin Index and attached the latest version of your plugin to the first post in the WordDumb thread. Last edited by DoctorOhh; 11-10-2020 at 05:31 PM. |

Hate to be 'that person', but any chance of making this work with KFX (preferably) or even AZW3?

I can only edit my recent post but not the old ones, still can't beat the forum spam algorithm. |

I took a look at your code for handling azw3 format and noticed the following in parse_job.py:
start -= 14 # this value works for some books of mine The offset of 14 will work for many books, but not all. See the thread "azw3r highlight and note extraction info" starting from post #25 for details on what is needs to be done to relate azw3 content and position numbers correctly.
