Why does The Atlantic.com skips photo articles???
Why does the "The Atlantic.com" recipe skip photo editorial articles?

For example, it downloads regular articles, but routinely skips articles such as:

https://www.theatlantic.com/photo/20...tm_source=feed


And how can we strip <em> </em> from the article title?

When I try to test it, I only get the magazine.

Edit: Okay... I did not realize that the recipes were hosted remotely...

But what about stripping the <em> from the titles

They are presumably present in the feeds. You should report it to atlantic and hopefully they will fixtheir feeds.
