Calbre 5.2.0 on Windows Server 2008
Today I tried to update Calibre with 5.2.0 (64bit) and noted that I get a message "Only supported on Windows 8 and above".
Currently I am running on 4.9.1 which runs fine on Windows Server 2008. Is this some sort of oversight or deliberately inserted with version 5.x.x? I use the server to share my free books with my family. Regards Kees. |

It is probably a Python 3 thing.
I don't know how many folk run Calibre on the 'server' product line, but wasn't that cW7? (which is also out) |
