5.0.1 Change line spacing?
I'm having a line spacing issue with a book I'm trying to read in the viewer. the attached screenshot shows the problem. No mo matter which font I select for the devanagari text, the bottom is truncated. It's not unreadable, but it is tedious, and so I've been looking for line spacing options, hoping that might fix the problem. But I can't find any option for changing the spacing of the lines?

Flow, should I switch to paged?
EDIT I just switched to paged mode, no change. Last edited by Uncle Robin; 09-30-2020 at 06:19 AM. |

In flow mode you get partial lines, that's how scrolling in browsers (which the viweer is) works. In paged mode you should not get any partial lines. if you are then its likely a bug in the CSS 3 columns implementation in chromium with that font.

Thanks Mr Goyal. I have tried several different fonts, all show that problem. Mangal is specified in the CSS, which is probably why that's the only font that displays the original bought copy on my Kobo device. But selecting Mangal as the serif font in the viewer preferences, and setting serif as the default font type doesn't help. The text still shows as non-serif, Noto Devanagari.
