Set cover from Second Page - in bulk.

I have a large number of documents where I want the cover page to come from the second page of the document - not the first.

Is there anyway to do this in bulk?

BTW, I know how to set the cover from the first page in bulk and I know how to individually set the cover from any page.

No, you will need to know how to script for that.

I guess I better get busy trying to learn to script Calibre.

Btw. Thanks for Calibre! It really is a superior piece of software for book management (and more).

Use pdftoppm from the poppler project to extract the cover images, and use calibredb to add them to the calibre library.

I can easily turn that into a simple, repeatable process with a bit of scripting.
