Does the calibre editor support MathML?

If yes, what is the best way to insert a formula in MathML format into an epub with the calibre editor?

The ditor has no special support for mathml, you can type it in manually.

The calibre viewer displays correctly the mathml chunks, while the "file preview" in the editor not. Is it normal?

yes, the viewer uses mathjax for this, the editor's preview does not support it.

when you open the editor without editing anything, the preview panel tells you what its limitations are.
