When I use Tapatalk app, email notifications stop coming.

Hello there.
When I am a laptop or desktop computer I just use a web browser to view threads and to reply to them. But when I'm on my Android phone, I find it hard to view mobileread forum and write in a browser app, like Firefox. So I would install the Tapatalk app. But I noticed when I have the Tapatalk app installed, I no longer get the email notifications. I noticed that when I uninstalled the Tapatalk app, then I get email notifications again. Now, is there a way to have both the Tapatalk app installed and also receive email notifications of threads or posts that I am subscribed to?
