Sigil Find Replace Function
Does the built in Find Replace have a fuzzy search? I tried *, like ending with * and that doesn't work. I would guess that this is what regex is for. If regex is the thing to be using I'd ask where to start.

Sigil uses the PCRE regex engine/syntax

Regex is really amazing. It saved me like a month of doing monotonous stuff. The stuff I'm doing is heavy editing work and the bible alone is like 1,200 chapters. That's not fun to edit.

And https://regexr.com/ is really useful for building and testing expressions, once you know the basics.
