Is there a plugin allowing me to fill a certain column simply based on tags?

For example, if a book has a tag named "Holmes", I hope this plugin can automatically fill a custom column "Genre" with "Detective Fiction". Certainly I can do a search for tag:"Holmes" and edit the metadata in bulk to manually change the "Genre" column, but I have to do this every time I added new books.

I'm wanting this plugin because my tags are auto-generated, but I hope to convert these tags into a custom column rather than being tags.
