Cap on manage your content and devices?
My MYCD was normal this morning, looked at it this afternoon and it is only showing 10,000 items (was over 23,000) and nothing past 5/11/20. Purchases after that time are there if I search by title and/or author.
After being turfed from 1 amazon chat person to another, the 4th one reported this "Elizabeth, I would like to inform you that there is some technical glitch on our website so I would request you to wait for 2-3 hours and check for your ebooks again, I am keeping this chat window for 24 hours so that you can resume on the same chat if the issue still persist and then we will escalate this to our technical team by creating the ticket." Am I the only one seeing this cap? Will update in several hours if MYCD has returned to my normal or not. |

Same here, MYCD is 10,000 items on computer browsers, on my Kindles is 14K plus. I actually owns about 19K items. This number on all my kindles is never able to show correctly. I have the same question on the cap of number of purchased book items stored on my account.

I wonder if this was the same code-Oops that botched author search in MYCD in another thread. (Search for Faye Kellerman produced Faye OR Kellerman, not the expected implied AND which is normal.) That seems to be okay again, per that poster.

Chatted with several different customer service techs over a 2 day period. First tech was just positive that there was a 10,000 cap on mycd on any device, no one else mentioned this.
Three of the most helpful techs thought this was a technical glitch that would eventually fix itself. The last tech checked and verified that all items in my library were on an amazon server. Just not showing up in MYCD unless specifically searched, but they are all there. This evening (Tuesday after 3 day holiday weekend) mycd on edge, firefox and silk still shows 10,000 items, shows nothing past 5/2/20 (previously 5/11) and is having random difficulty sending older books to the oasis. Kindle for PC still shows the correct number of items. The oasis and fire libraries have never been in agreement and that's unchanged. Practicing patience, remembering that it took amazon several weeks to fix the mess they made of my order history - pending purchases went from 20 to 25000 (mix of several years of orders) then finally back to 20. Will update when anything changes. |

As of thursday 5/28, my manage your content and devices (MYCD) is back to 21,000+ and showing recent purchases. yay!
