Overdrive issue with 4.21.15015
I'm starting a new thread because it seems this post got lost in the other discussions about the new firmware, 4.21.15015

I don't know if this is a bug or a "feature", but when I select Overdrive in the new firmware, I cannot browse the entire catalog, only the displayed selections "Harry Potter", "what's new for kids" "Thrill Ride" etc. Also, within those categories is a "Filter" button with a dropdown mun offering "Featured" and "All books", but I am unable to activate the "more books" option. By that I mean that I can select "all books", and a message comes up saying "Please wait... we're currently loading this list", but when the page refreshes, the filter is still set to "Featured". What has happened to the ability to search the catalogue of the library the device is logged into?

Try the looking glass in the top right, then select the drop down arrow next to what to search and change from Kobo store to overdrive.

You might want to check my response to that message when you posted it in the Firmware 4.21.15015 thread. See mesage #54

Please note that posting the same message multiple times is kinda frowned on.

And yes, PeterT's suggestion here is the same one I made. Search Overdrive.

Thank you. I started this thread 21 minutes before your reply in that thread. I had waited 30 hours without any response to my initial query (and had tried in that thread to draw attention to my initial query), so it seemed reasonable to assume that it was buried by then by the other topics being discussed in that thread. Because I am very well aware of that double posting is a shibboleth, I checked VERY carefully before starting this new thread.

I posted in the other thread before I saw this one. I don't yet have the new firmware, but I've never found a way to browse the entire library catalog on my Clara with my current or any previous software. All I've ever had is things like Featured or the current Harry Potter stuff. I do my browsing on other devices.

Really? Your original post shows it's date/time as yesterday at 8:49PM PDT. Your duplicate post was dated today at 5:19PM PDT. According to my handy-dandy calculator, that isn't 24 hours never mind 30 hours. Or did you mean to write 20 hours and 30 minutes? 30 hours would have you posting at 2:49AM on May 21, 2020, PDT.

Does 4.21.15015 add Overdrive to older models? I didn't think the H2O2 had Overdrive.

If you’re aware that double posting is a shibboleth, don’t do it. Ignorance is no excuse; even less so is knowing yet doing something anyway.

If you don’t get a response in a reasonable amount of time, bump your original post or ask that it be moved. Please read the guidelines, where this kind of issue is spelled out.

Overdrive is on the Aura ONE and all the devices released after it.
