Best way to copy original book files and their metadata to a new library
I want to copy some books from my library to an independent library on another computer. I do want to copy the original book files (epubs/pdfs) but import the metadata I added in calbire as well.

Would a calibre export with command line options for originals and OPF files work in this situation?

Sorry, I cannot find "Copy to library" on right click. I Have "Edit metdata" to "Convert books" to "Remove Books", but no "Copy to library".

You need to have more than one library known to calibre, then it will show up.

no. just create a new library in calibre then you will be abel to transfer books to it using right lcick, dont know why you need to involve two computers.

one solution is use content server on 2nd computer to see books on 1st computer, then download them from content server. metatdata will be in the books
