Save to Disk only sends jpg, not epub for a few books to SD Card
Save to Disk only sends the jpg, not epub for a few books to SD Card.
I've verified the source folder for each book contains a jog, epub and metadata.opf file. I've attached a screen shot and metadata.opf for each book in Calibre Library. Thank you for your consideration. Ken |

Your screenshots show no actual eBook in any format. See the little black window in the upper right corner. It's blank. That's where the eBook formats show up.

Thank you, that would explain it.
How do I get the book to show up, since it's in the source folder? Additionally, when I "Add book" to library it adds it as a zip file rather than native epub, html, etc format. How do I change that? |

Regarding adding books, they are some epub and html books.
Regarding Library Maintenance, the only items on the Library icon are: Show books in calibre laibrary Switch/create library... When I search Help for "maintenance" it explains what should be listed on the Library icon, but only the above 2 items are shown. |

Example of files in source folder:
After - Anna Todd.epub cover.jpg metadata.opf They were added a long time ago, I just noticed the issue now. If I delete the book and then add it, it comes in as zip format. Now I just notice option on Add books "add file to selected book records", which lets me add the epub book. |

Thank you for the screen shot. Mine is definitely missing options see my attached screen shot.
When I press "O" it opens the source folder showing these files: After - Anna Todd.epub cover.jpg metadata.opf |

I didn't and still don't have any devices (USB, SD Cards, etc) plugged in.

You could drag that "After - Anna Todd.epub" over to the book details panel and drop it, that will bring the database in line with the folders.
You must have done something 'bad' in the distant past to break the nexus between the book record in the database and the book folder contents BR Last edited by BetterRed; 04-10-2020 at 06:31 PM. |

Maybe a connected folder then, that Connect share button is normally only present if a device or folder is connected.

That worked and so did option on Add books "add file to selected book records".
Any idea how to get the menu fixed? Anything to loose by uninstalling and reinstalling Calibre? |
